Our new project, The Healing Garden, has been instigated by Faye, one of our members. She is full of enthusiasm,
and has got people motivated to come along and join in. We are now looking for all sorts of garden tools, cuttings etc. If
you can donate something, please contact Nicky.
We have been given access to the old gardeners cottage in Lewisvale Park in Musselburgh, and so far we have taken
it from a derelict overgrown space to one that is nearly under control- although quite bare at the moment. We are looking
for more people to help with this project. We are in the process of applying for grants at the moment.

Our new Art Tutor is now in post, and the class is fired with enthusiasm-lots of new and exciting
projects under way already..
We are always on the lookout for interesting art and craft materials, if you have any unused items
you would like to donate, please get in touch, as we can put them to good use.
Pottery has changed to a Tuesday evening, and we hope that this will provide something different
for people through the dreary winter evenings.
Our Lunch Club on Wednesdays is proving very poular-so much so that we are considering adding a
second day, with the keenest of the Wednesday cooks offering their services-watch this space!
OUR WINTER WALKING GROUP IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR NEW MEMBERS, IF YOU KNOW OF SOMEONE IN THE
17-24 AGE RANGE WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED, GIVE US A CALL, AND THEY COULD BE WALKING THE WEST HIGHLAND WAY, COME SPRING 2008!
The RNLI kindly agreed to let us have a table at their Summer Fete, and we sold our home-made
jam. This was a great success and we sold over a hundred jars in just over an hour.
Our Coffee Morning in August was a success, everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, and we raised
over £300, thanks to every one who took part!
